FOR YOU · OUR VISION

Prognostics. A look ahead at your health.

What could you learn about your health tomorrow by understanding your body today? We’re developing a platform that brings individual molecular measurements together so you can follow changes over time. Medical prognostics is our long-term research vision. With pheal better., our first aim is to help people follow selected changes in sweat during everyday activities and sport.

WHY WE’RE BUILDING PHEAL

We believe understanding your body helps you take better care of yourself.

Your health is personal. So are your routines, goals and responses. We’re working on ways to follow selected molecular changes over time, so you can discover what is typical for you.

UPSTREAM AND DOWNSTREAM

See the response. Explore the processes behind it.

Your heart rate rises during exercise. Your breathing changes. These responses carry useful information. Here, “downstream” describes signals that show how your body is responding.

With pheal, we want to add another perspective by following selected molecular markers over time. They can give us a closer look at the biological processes involved in a change.

UPSTREAM · A CLOSER LOOK AT BIOLOGY

Making molecular signals easier to observe.

Biochemical changes can precede physical responses or noticeable symptoms. We use “upstream” to describe signals closer to those molecular processes. Repeated measurements can help us understand how those signals develop.

A single biomarker rarely tells us why something changed. Trends, context and validated interpretation matter. We’re starting with sweat and developing ways to access other body fluids.

FROM DIAGNOSTICS TO PROGNOSTICS

How might my health change over time?

Prognostics looks ahead. It uses suitable measurements and their trends to estimate future outcomes and risks. For pheal, that work begins with making biological changes visible and understandable over time.

Diagnostics and prognostics compared across snapshots, trends and personal reference ranges.
Our vision for prognostics brings together long-term trends and personal context to support decisions about the future.

Your own baseline matters.

Values fluctuate. A series of measurements lets you explore recurring patterns and see how today’s readings compare with your usual range.

Context helps you interpret change.

Movement, rest and how you feel all help put a reading in perspective. We want to connect measurements to the questions that matter in your life.

The goal is to act earlier.

Over time, we aim to help people recognise meaningful changes earlier and make informed decisions.

Prognostic health applications are part of our development vision. Medical predictions and decisions require clinical validation for the specific use and regulatory approval where applicable. pheal better. is designed for everyday wellbeing and sport.

FROM OBSERVATION TO UNDERSTANDING

Understanding change starts with a closer look.

01 · OBSERVE

How does my body respond?

Follow selected molecular markers in situations that matter to you and see how they change over time.

02 · ADD CONTEXT

What changes for me?

Consider your readings alongside activity, recovery and how you feel. Look for recurring patterns and the questions they raise.

03 · MAKE A CHOICE

What would I like to try?

Use your observations to explore your habits and follow what changes when you try something different.

START WITH YOUR OWN QUESTIONS

Insights that fit your life.

You might be curious about your body during sport, or about how selected markers vary during an ordinary day. We’re developing focused monitoring sessions you can use when a question matters to you.

When you’re active

Follow selected sweat markers during movement and see how they change as your session progresses.

When you want a closer look

Bring repeated measurements together with a question of your own and a note about how you felt.

Available measurements depend on the product and sensor layer. Further health applications are in development.

DESIGNED FOR REUSE

Keep the Heart. Explore something new.

The rechargeable pheal Heart houses the electronics. To explore a different application, switch to the appropriate sensor layer and reuse the compatible Heart.

Separating the parts that touch body fluids from the durable electronics helps reduce electronic waste. Our aim is a system that can evolve with new sensors and your needs.

What can your sweat tell you?

With pheal better., we’re starting with selected electrolytes and the pH of sweat. Following four parameters together offers another perspective on how their levels change over time.

Monitoring follows longer-term patterns. Start Live Mode via NFC when you want a closer look, for example during a training session.

WHAT DRIVES US · PROGNOSTICS

Health unfolds over time. We want to understand where it’s heading.

We want to help people notice changes earlier and make informed choices about their wellbeing. Our vision for prognostics is to better understand how changes may develop and when it might be useful to act.
